TICKETS & HOSPITALITY

The Oak Brook Polo Club is thrilled to welcome everyone back to to this year's season at the historic Cecil Smith Field. The comfort and safety and health of our guests is and will always be a top priority. We ask that all guests exercise caution, take precautionary measures, be accountable, and utilize good judgment at all times while interacting with one another this summer. 

FAST FACTS:

  • Sunday Public Polo Matches - Gates open at 1:00 p.m., on-field polo festivities and match begin at 2:00 p.m.

  • Field Side Parking - limited number of parking spots are available at the field at a cost of $20.00 per vehicle

  • Tickets are encourage to be purchased in advance to limit and reduce wait times and easy entry

  • Pets are allowed, but MUST be on a leash at all times and the presence of their handler

WEST SIDELINE TAILGATE

LOCATION:        Northwest Sideline

$25 Avg. Person | Group of 5

Park your vehicle field-side for a great view of the match. Each spot comes with a patio umbrella to keep you shaded and cool. West sideline tailgaters have easy access to full-service bars, food truck(s) and climate controlled restrooms, as well as favorable views of polo festivities and within earshot of the play-by-play announcer. Tailgaters are encouraged to dress up their tailgate to compete in the “Best Tailgate” contest for cool sponsor prizes.

EAST SIDELINE TAILGATE

$75.00

LOCATION:        East Sideline

$175 Avg. Person | Group of 5

Park your vehicle field-side for a great view of the match. Each spot comes with a patio umbrella to keep you shaded and cool. East sideline tailgaters have a much more intimate and private view of the match. Tailgaters are encourage to pack a picnic and cooler. For a larger group outing, you can purchase and combine multiple tailgate spots to spread out.  Tailgaters are are also encouraged to dress up their tailgate to compete in the “Best Tailgate” contest for cool sponsor prizes.

GRANDSTAND GENERAL ADMISSION

$30.00

LOCATION:        Center West Sideline

$30 Person

Enjoy a birds eye view of the polo match from the Saddle Club's grandstand bleacher seating area. Guests will have a clear and unobstructed view of the entire field and polo festivities, with easy access to full-service bars, food truck(s), climate controlled restrooms, and sponsor displays, as well as within earshot of the play-by-play announcer. You don't need to break the bank to attend a polo match. This is the perfect ticket and entry into the sport of kings.

FIELD PARKING ACCESS

$20

LOCATION:        West Sideline

As an alternative to using free parking and shuttle services to and from Christ Church, guests have the opportunity to purchase a field parking pass. This pass allows guests to park in designated lots adjacent to the field for easy accessibility, entry and exit from the field. Parking Passes MUST be purchased in advance and will not be offered for sale at the gate upon entry. There are a limited number of spots available so PLEASE PURCHASE IN ADVANCE.

RULES & REGULATIONS

  • PLEASE purchased your tickets in advance online., especially those with limited availability. We will be accepting cash or credit card transactions onsite during scheduled events. Please have your ticket ready upon arrival.

  • Free general parking and shuttles services will be available to and from the Christ Church (501 Oak Brook Rd., Oak Brook, IL)

  • Limited field parking is available at a cost of $20 per car, which can be purchased online along with your ticket.

  • Tailgate spots are allowed to be combined to form a larger space or group. We ask that tailgaters do not exceed 10 people per spot. Tailgaters must arrive together in order to be parked next to each other.

  • Tailgate spots will be assigned upon arrival and check-in. Vehicles are REQUIRED to park in their assigned spot. 

  • We encourage all tailgaters who have purchase a field-side spot to arrive no later than 2:00 PM

  • Guests are responsible for the collection and disposal of their garbage. Waste containers will be provided onsite at events. If guests do Trash bags may be provided to help with the collection of garbage

  • All employees are educated and trained on the need for personal sanitation and hygiene as well as the sanitation of venue areas. All employees MUST wash their hands regularly

PERMITTED ITEMS....

  • Tailgaters will be permitted to bring the following items. These items are NOT allowed for General Admission, Saddle Club or Reserved Table seating...

    • Blanket(s) (water resistant recommended)

    • Collapsable Folding Chair(s)

    • Portable Cooler(s)

    • Food / Large Picnic. Picnic baskets and boxed lunches are available for advance purchase and pick-up onsite. Catered or delivered food is NOT permitted unless you have reserved a private field-side tent

    • Staked Umbrellas or Tent (no bigger than 10'x10') for additional shade

    • Non-Alcoholic Beverages. Outside alcohol is NOT permitted in the following seated areas: General Admission, Saddle Club, Reserved Tables, Players Suite and Small and Large Field-Side Cabanas.

    • Dogs or any pet. All pets MUST remain on leash at all times and in the presence of their owner.

  • All Spectators will be permitted and encouraged to bring the following items

    • Sunscreen

    • Baseball Cap or Large Sun Hat

    • Camera and/or Binoculars

    • Comfortable footwear. Women should wear flats, not heels

PROHIBITTED ITEMS....

  • Tailgaters and spectators are NOT allowed to bring the following items...

    • Open flame grills​

    • Tents or umbrellas over 10'x10' or 100 sq. ft.

    • Throwable items, including frisbees, footballs, baseballs, etc.

    • Drones or any type of airborne object

    • Weapons

    • Inappropriate attire

TICKET TRANSFERS

The Oak Brook Polo Club has a non-refundable ticket policy. However, ticket and group hospitality holders from 2022 canceled matches will still be allowed to transfer their tickets or group reservations to 2023 scheduled events. When ticket go on sale for the 2023 season, tickets will then be allowed to be transferred to another available ticket type of equal value.

TICKET PURCHASE POLICY

By purchasing a ticket(s) and/or entering onto the polo grounds of an Oak Brook Polo Club (OBPC) sanctioned and scheduled event, you assume all risk and danger incidental to the game of polo and release OBPC, its sponsors, host organizations, participating players, and their agents from any liabilities resulting from such entry. You further grant permission to OBPC and its title sponsors to use your image or likeness incidental to any live or recorded television, print materials, and other transmission and reproduction in whole or in part of any OBPC event.  

Under the Equine Activity Liability Act, each

participant who engages in an equine activity

expressly assumes the risks of engaging in and

legal responsibility for injury, loss, or

damage to person or property resulting

from the risk of equine activities.

OBPC, the Village of Oak Brook, and Pineoak Partners LLC cannot guarantee that you or your child(ren) will not become infected with COVID-19. Attending a polo event could increase your risk and your child(ren)’s risk of contracting COVID-19.

 

By purchasing a ticket, You acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that your child(ren) and you may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by attending a polo event and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. You understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at a polo event may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, OBPC, the Village of Oak Brook, and Pineoak Partners LLC and their employees, volunteers, and event participants and their families. You voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to your child(ren) or yourself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that you or your child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with you or your child(ren)’s attendance at a polo event (the “Claims”). On your behalf, and on behalf of your children, you hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless OBPC, the Village of Oak Brook, and Pineoak Partners LLC and their employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. You understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of OBPC, the Village of Oak Brook, and Pineoak Partners LLC and their employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any OBPC event.
